Variable dimension installations which use deconstructed LCD monitors and polarizing filters to obstruct and redirect the viewer's gaze and body, expanding and honing vantage points.
A Phantom and a Fly, 2023
A pillar of blank screens mirrors a vitrine, which houses a painting in its ceiling. The images on the screens are only visible through the mirrors on the surrounding walls.
Low Moon, 2023
An earlier rendition of A Phantom and a Fly. A pillar of blank screens mirrors an open terrarium, which houses a painting in its ceiling. The images on the screens are only visible through the peepholes built into the terrarium. When the viewer leans in observe the images, the smell of earth meets them.
